Workshop Evaluation

We are very happy to share with you the excellent evaluation we have received from the participants of the “Why Conflict, Why Not Peace'”Workshop.

Reflections on Compassion

The one Light Institute’s (OLI) First summer Circle (July 23, 2017) was a celebration of the hearts, minds and spirits. Thanks to you all. You spoke with so much compassion, wisdom, courage, beauty, intelligence and thoughtfulness that they filled the space with Light. We explored our summer circle’s theme “Compassion” through various means of expressions.Your song, poetry, flute and music filled the air with the aroma of unity and awakening. Children’s presentations and creative role plays on compassion, bullying and Islamophobia were so relevant and heartfelt! I An interactive, inter-cultural, Inter-racial, inter-generational and interfaith program it captured many hearts.

The gist of what the participants’ said are,

“What could be better than spending an evening with a group of warmhearted, like-minded beautiful souls, who share heartwarming experiences, words of wisdom, music, poetry, acting and good food, in an atmosphere of genuine compassion?! Many thanks to everyone in this wonderful group, especially our kind hosts. Live light!!”

“What a sublimely lovely gathering- there was something for everyone – kindness, understanding, empathy, wisdom (especially from the children!), humor, laugh-outloud moments, as well as “whew that’s awkward” sympathetic thoughts- as well as music- and a great rendition of Kris Kristoffererson’s “Here Comes that Rainbow Again”. Thank you so much for inviting me-“.
